Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Pixocount ("we", "us", or "the Service") collects through the Pixocount application (the "Service"), how it is used, and important information about how the Service connects to WhatsApp. By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash — we never store your password in plain text).
- Session information: a session cookie, and the IP address and browser/device (user-agent) associated with each login, used to keep you signed in securely.
- Lead and contact data you upload: phone numbers, names, company names, email addresses, industry, and notes for the contacts you import or add. This is your own business data about your contacts — we do not collect it from them directly.
- Message content and delivery logs: the templates you send and the sent/delivered/read/failed status and timestamps of each message.
- WhatsApp connection data: a linked-device session (similar to WhatsApp Web) used to send messages on your behalf. We do not collect or store your WhatsApp account password.
- Billing information: your selected plan and subscription status. Payment details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Ziina — we never see or store your full card number.
2. How We Use This Information
We use the information above to:
- Operate the Service and send messages to your leads on your instruction.
- Track delivery, read receipts, and inbound replies (including honoring opt-out requests).
- Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- Process billing and manage your subscription.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Service.
3. WhatsApp Messaging & Meta
The messaging features of this Service work by connecting to WhatsApp, a product owned and operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. ("Meta"). When you send a message through the Service, your message content and the recipient's phone number are transmitted through Meta's WhatsApp platform. Your use of WhatsApp through this Service is also subject to WhatsApp's own Terms of Service and messaging policies, which are set by Meta and outside of our control.
The Service is built to follow reasonable, good-faith sending practices — including paced delays between messages, configurable sending windows, and automatic honoring of "STOP" replies. That said, WhatsApp independently monitors accounts for high-volume or automated-seeming activity, and may restrict, rate-limit, flag, suspend, or permanently ban a phone number or WhatsApp account at its sole discretion — including as a result of sending too many messages, messaging recipients who have not consented to be contacted, or other activity WhatsApp considers abusive. This can happen regardless of how the Service is configured.
We are not responsible for, and accept no liability for, any restriction, suspension, ban, or loss of access to WhatsApp, or any resulting loss, arising from your use of the WhatsApp messaging features of this Service. You are solely responsible for the volume and content of the messages you send, for obtaining appropriate consent from your recipients, and for complying with WhatsApp's and Meta's own policies. We strongly recommend sending only to recipients who have agreed to be contacted and keeping message volumes reasonable.
4. Other Third-Party Services
Subscription payments are processed by Ziina. Ziina collects and processes your payment details directly under its own privacy policy; we only receive your subscription and billing status, not your full card details.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored in a database operated for this Service. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt, session tokens are signed and hashed before storage, and WhatsApp connection credentials are stored only on the server running the Service, never sent to your browser. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
Lead, campaign, and message data is retained until you or your account administrator deletes it. Deleting a lead removes its personal details while preserving anonymized message history for record-keeping. Expired login sessions are removed automatically.
7. Cookies
We use a single strictly-necessary session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics tracking cookies.
8. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account or lead data at any time by contacting us using the details below.
9. Children's Privacy
This Service is intended for business use and is not directed at, or knowingly used to collect information from, children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
